Yesterday’s report from the OECD, highlighting the strength of the UK economy in relation to other G7 economies, reflects the optimism felt in the AltoVenus office. Managing Partner Simon Venus comments: “We have experienced a rise in both placements and requirements over the final quarter of last year, and that trend has accelerated into the New Year”.

Growth in AltoVenus has been particularly strong within the defence sector, with telecoms recruitment closely behind. We expect requirements within telecoms to grow significantly in Q1 this year, as the growth of LTE (4G) demands additional resources to deliver the network capacity that smartphone use requires.
